The Wonderful World of Me

This is a blog about a lame, square, 16 year old girl in the middle of North America with nothing better to do but sit on her ass in type in this thing. Enjoy.

Internet Quizes Telling You The Truth?

So I felt bored tonight. I should have been studying for my Chem Quiz tomorrow but instead I find myself doing lame quizzes. So I guess this is the last one for the night. Another thing about me is that I have in fact never kissed a boy (or a man, or even a girl :P). So this quiz may be lieing for all I know.

It's funny how much we trust these things. Girls flock to these sites to find out if their crush and them are soul mates, or which Harry Potter actor is there best match. When the truth is these quizzes have about a 1 in 10 chance of being right. And this is only because the person who created the quiz only made 10 alternate answers.

In real life if your crush doesn't call you all the time, or sit next to you in the cafeteria it doesn't mean he/she doesn't like you. Most likely you aren't calling them all the time either or sitting next to them. So does that mean you don't really like them?

So in conclusion I say... Do them, they are fun. :)

Once upon a time...

Once upon a time a girl was born into a then family of 4. This family was the typical American family. Middle class with one girl, one boy, and a nice home in a good neighborhood. The only difference was that they were not in America but rather in Canada. Winnipeg, Manitoba to be exact.

Sixteen years latter, this family now lives in the same place, and same house. The eldest Daughter has now moved out and is approximately 24 years of age. The eldest son (21) still lives at home and can often be found working at a fancy restaurant or with his new girlfriend. The youngest daughter on the other hand, is in grade 11 and can often be found stressing over the little things in life, playing tennis against the local elementary school, or on the computer.

As you may have guessed, I am that youngest daughter. My name is Christine.

So I've decided I need a job. In truth I decided this about a year ago...but never did get one. My parents have been pushing it and now that I owe people some money I probably should. My friend HJ told me that some people just quit at Little Caesars, so tonight I'm going to do a cover letter and go drop off my resume. That is if I ever get off my ass.

On another note as usual I've been thinking about AS a lot lately. I always have, haven't I? He's one of my best friends and like every teenage movie I have a big crush on him. It's been more than a year, I'm pathetic. Anyway last night I watched The Family Stone again and it got me thinking about how hard this years Christmas is going to be. It will be his first without his mom. Poor guy. Sometimes I just want to give him a hug because you can just tell by his look that he is thinking of her.

AS has been one of my best friends for about a year and a half now but I never knew much about his life. He moved to Winnipeg in grade 8 and I met him in grade 9. He used to live with his mom in the states. All I knew was that his parents were divorced, she now lived in Alberta, his dad's a doctor, they don't have much money and his sister's a slut. Then a week before winter break this past year he called me crying on the phone. He told me his mom was going to die in like 7 days and that he always knew it was coming. She was an alcoholic. So he left to see her and when he came back we only talked about it here in there. In 5 days he is going to Ontario for her funeral.

So that's some of my life. More is to come about my past future and present.

peace. love. happiness.
